Canvass Tool text sign-in · Effective October 15, 2026

New Orleans Sponsoring Committee – Together New Orleans is the sole SMS sender for the Canvass Tool text sign-in program. This notice covers phone numbers, consent, and authentication messages for that program.

Information we use

When you request text sign-in, we use your mobile number, your request to receive a code, and authentication and delivery records to verify access to your account, deliver the code, prevent misuse, and provide support. Account-menu sign-in requires a linked phone. Area-claim registration verifies your contact number before saving your profile. Text verification does not grant additional access to voter information.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers, including Supabase and Twilio, to operate authentication and deliver text messages. They process the information needed to provide those services.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, mobile opt-in information, or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service against misuse.

Records and protection

We limit access to authentication information to people and service providers who need it to operate and secure the service. Authentication and delivery records may be retained for operational, support, fraud-prevention, and legal needs. Do not share verification codes with anyone.

Your choices

Text sign-in is optional. You can use email/password or Google sign-in instead. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. This sign-in program does not enroll you in outreach, fundraising, survey-recap, or community solar texts.
